Become a volunteer!

We are accepting a limited number of volunteers who can spend at least one day a week on a regular basis to help us care for our residents. Dependability, reliability, and the ability to get along with others is a must. Duties start small–grooming and socializing are important tasks!–and over time you can learn how to clean, feed, and even learn more about the medical care we provide to residents. Off-site tasks like fundraising, grant writing, bookkeeping and marketing are also crucial.Some positions such as barn cleaning  require the ability to safely lift 50 pounds, work in any weather  and considerable walking. Feeders must have reliable transportation and a true commitment to their schedule. Thank you for your interest in our mission!
